One of the most memorable Estes Park Colorado Weddings
Gail and Carmen wanted to get married at Lily Lake on the 7th of the 7th, 2007 at 7pm. Just the two of them, me the camera man and photographer!
So we were all set to go when a thunder storm started right at 7pm and lightning was only a few hundred feet above us. It came lashing down from the heavens and Gail and I both stood there with the mascara running down our faces, freezing to the bone, trying to help her remember her vows as she forgot to bring her personal vows with her!
I could hardly read what she wrote as they were washed out on my copy! 30 mins later soaked through to the skin, we finally got through it and the bride and groom were happily united, when they showed the video to their family at home they all had a good laugh!
Thankfully Gail had prayed for rain for her perfect wedding and she got her wish! I told her she should have told me she had prayed for rain if I had known that I would have brought a couple of umbrellas with me:)
Some believe it is very lucky to have rain on your wedding day !
